I am a PhD student in Physics at the University of Toledo. My field of research is understanding the optical properties of various class of materials: dielectrics, metals, and semiconductors using various characterization technique including ellipsometry. I have studied the anisotropic optical properties of uniaxial single crystal SrLaAlO4 using spectroscopic ellipsometry from near-IR to UV range. Currently, I am working on optimization of hydrogenated nanocrystalline Si (nc-Si:H) solar cell in n-i-p substrate configuration and on characterizing optical properties of glancing angle deposited CdTe thin film and its potential for PV applications. During my free time I like to play badminton, soccer, and enjoy reading articles on modern technologies. |
